CS One Bribery Policy

1. Purpose

3. What is Bribery?

Bribery is the offering, giving, receiving, or soliciting of something of value to influence the actions or decisions of an individual or an organization for personal or business gain. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Money, gifts, hospitality, or other benefits.
  • Influencing a decision to secure business contracts.
  • Inducing improper performance of a duty.

4. Prohibited Activities

At CS One, the following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Offering bribes: Offering or promising anything of value to influence a business decision or other improper advantage.
  • Receiving bribes: Accepting gifts, money, or benefits in exchange for business favors or improper performance of duties.
  • Facilitating payments: Making unofficial payments to secure or speed-up routine services.
  • Third-party involvement: Working with agents, contractors, or other third parties who engage in bribery on behalf of CS One.
  • Inducing misconduct: Persuading someone to act against their professional responsibility for personal or company gain.

5. Acceptable Practices

There are situations where gifts or hospitality may be acceptable, provided they are modest, transparent, and do not aim to influence decisions or actions. Examples may include reasonable promotional items or attending business-related networking events. Any uncertainty about whether a gift or hospitality is appropriate should be discussed with management.

6. Reporting Concerns

All employees, contractors, or associates have a duty to report risks or concerns regarding bribery. If you suspect or are aware of any bribery, report it immediately to your line manager or the Managing Director.
