Digital Marketing Executive - PPC & SEO

We are looking for a new Digital Marketing Executive to lead our SEO and PPC marketing campaigns for our clients across the UK.

The role will take responsibility for the daily management of client accounts across all digital marketing competencies, including:-

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) including site audits, keyword research and implementation of optimisations, supported by our tools.

Managing Google Ad accounts (PPC), from small <£1000 a month accounts to six-digit budgets.

Working with our bespoke CMS, WordPress and Shopify.- Production of monthly reports and reporting dashboards for clients.

Write copy and manage email campaigns.

Supporting Social Media Marketing with copy.

Copywriting for our own company blog.

Communicating directly with clients via email and on the phone.

Managing 10 to 12 SEO/PPC accounts initially.

Working with prospective clients to write bespoke digital marketing proposals and plans.

Supporting our Digital Marketing Apprentice in his learning journey.

Answering the phone and direct/respond to any enquiries.

Requirements

You must have exceptional knowledge and a thorough understanding of Digital Marketing. Preferably, familiarity in an agency environment is a bonus although not required.

You must be familiar with:

SEO – understanding how metadata, headings, site speed, links and usability all affect organic rankings, and you should be able to practically demonstrate this knowledge by managing optimisations in CMS. Technical optimisations would need to be explained to our dev team.

PPC – an understanding of Google Ad account structure, bidding, ad copy and optimisations is required, as this will form part of your daily job role.

Social Media Marketing – previous experience with copywriting for social posts is desirable.

You will need to be able to easily justify and explain a digital marketing approach or strategy to the client. Some clients will expect you to be by the phone to answer quick questions or take part in weekly/monthly briefings.

Due to our location in rural Sittingbourne, you will need to have access to your own transport.

Salary: £20,000 to £27,000 depending upon experience. Performance bonuses available.
